Slicing a Walnut Log into 37 Slabs
A friend provided the walnut log we are using for Slab Skins, a thin slab project we're working on. I first rolled the log to present the plane I wanted to cut. This required log tongs, a snatch block, a chain and a winch. After the first cut, we changed the blade so we wouldn't have to worry about it becoming too dull.
