Illusion Cabinet

You can make a cabinet that can fit together well, by putting it together with notches and outer parts that fit into those notches. You will want to carefully measure all parts of the cabinet in order to make sure all the parts fit perfectly. Once you have your notches and holes lined up perfectly then you will want to put them together, sand all the parts down if necessary and you can fit the legs on in a similar way.

Key Takeaways:

  • This cabinet only has two shelves which allows an easier build where you just have to make sure the holes are drilled.
  • It’s good to assume that things will go wrong in the building process. This lowers expectations and makes it easier to overcome challenges.
  • Using a scent inside the cabinet is a nice surprise for opening the cabinet. This project is great for showing guests what you have built.

“The cabinet appears to be frame-and-panel construction with the legs proud of the side panels. But the sides are solid with the legs simply glued on.”
